Who we are

VIRO Health (“VIRO”, “we”) operates an intermediary platform that connects users (“you”) with independent NMC-registered Registered Medical Practitioners (“Doctors”) and licensed pharmacy partners. We are the platform; we do not diagnose, prescribe, or dispense medicines.

The personal data we collect

  • Identity: name, age, gender, contact phone, email.
  • Address: shipping address required to deliver medicine.
  • Health data: your responses to the assessment, including sensitive medical history needed for doctor review.
  • Order data: prescription details, payment status, delivery tracking.
  • Technical data: IP address, device/browser info, consent metadata for legal record.
We collect only what is needed for the specific purpose. We do not collect data we do not need.

Why we collect it (purposes)

  • To enable an NMC-registered doctor to review your case and decide on treatment.
  • To enable a licensed pharmacy partner to dispense and deliver any prescribed medicine.
  • To operate the platform: payment, order tracking, follow-up support.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations (Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020, Drugs & Cosmetics Act, DPDP Act 2023).

Who we share it with

  • The independent doctor reviewing your case (assessment + relevant medical history).
  • The licensed pharmacy partner fulfilling your order (prescription + shipping address).
  • Payment processors (transaction data only, never medical data).
  • Technical processors strictly for platform operation, under signed Data Processing Agreements.
We never sell your data. We never share your data for third-party marketing.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023 you may access, correct, port, or erase your personal data, and withdraw consent, anytime via your account or by emailing privacy@virohealth.in. Regulated medical records may be retained for the statutory retention period and erased after.
