About VIRO
Is VIRO a clinic?
No. VIRO is the connection between you, an Indian doctor (NMC-registered), and a trusted pharmacy. VIRO does not diagnose, does not write prescriptions, and does not send medicine itself.
Who reads my check-up?
An Indian doctor registered with the NMC. The doctor — not VIRO — decides if treatment is right for you.
Who sends my medicine?
A trusted pharmacy partner. VIRO does not keep or sell medicine.
Cost & payment
What does the check-up cost?
Free. Doctor review and prescription are also free. You pay only for medicine — and only if the doctor says it is right for you.
Is it a monthly plan?
Your first order is one-time. No monthly plan is forced on you. A monthly plan is offered only after your first delivery, and you can cancel any time.
When do I pay?
You pay only after the doctor approves the medicine. If the doctor does not give medicine, you pay nothing.
Privacy & data
Is my data safe?
Yes. VIRO follows India's DPDP Act 2023. We share your details only with your doctor and the pharmacy needed for your order. We never sell your data.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can ask to delete your data or take back consent any time from your account. Some medical records have to be kept by law for a fixed time — after that, they are deleted.
How do WhatsApp messages from VIRO look?
Neutral. We never show your diagnosis or medicine name in the message preview. Privacy is the default.
Treatment
What if the doctor does not give medicine?
The doctor may ask for more details, request a video call, or send you to a clinic. If treatment is not right for you, the doctor will tell you. You pay nothing.
How long to get my medicine?
Bangalore — usually 48 hours. Other big cities — 2–3 working days. Smaller cities — 3–5 working days.
What does the box look like?
Plain box. Only your name and address on the outside. No medicine name, no category. The bill and legal papers go inside.
Can I cancel my monthly plan?
Yes, any time. There is no minimum period.
Safety
What if I get side effects?
Tell us — through the app, WhatsApp, or by emailing hello@virohealth.in. Serious side effects are sent to your doctor and handled under our safety process.
Is VIRO for emergencies?
No. VIRO is not for emergencies. If you have an emergency, please go to a hospital right away.
