Medical review
Our doctors work for you, not for VIRO.
Your check-up is read by an Indian doctor (NMC-registered) — a doctor enrolled with the National Medical Commission or a State Medical Council. The doctor — not VIRO — decides if treatment is right for you.
What this means in plain words
- Every doctor on VIRO has a real, checked NMC or State Council number.
- Doctors are independent — they are not VIRO employees. This follows the India Telemedicine Guidelines 2020.
- The doctor — and only the doctor — decides whether to give medicine, ask for more details, ask for a video call, or send you to a clinic.
- The doctor's prescription, registration number, and notes are saved safely with us.
What VIRO does, and does not do
VIRO runs the website, the check-up, the payment, and arranges private delivery with a trusted pharmacy. VIRO does not diagnose you, does not write prescriptions, and does not replace a doctor. The doctor takes the medical call. The pharmacy sends the medicine.
Are you a doctor?
If you are an NMC-registered doctor and want to join VIRO as an independent consultant — work from home, flexible hours, paid per consultation, full Telemedicine 2020 rules — please email doctors@virohealth.in with your registration number and a short note about yourself.
